I just find it all very melodramatic and self centred. There are many people who are having similar problems to you.

None of this is helping answer counciltaxers original question, which is in danger of getting lost.

Counciltaxer, I'm sorry to hear of your situation, but am afraid I don't have the knowledge to advise you. The only thing I would say is don't just ignore anything relating to court proceedings - make sure you reply to it all...

In my opinion, your continued hard lined comments just go to prove what I said in my first post. You appear to be nothing but a Goverment robotic penpusher, with no heart, no soul, & no feelings for anything other than your blinkered Goverment programming will allow. Thank goodness that not all people in your proffesion are the same as you.

Your attitude proves my point, get a life, have a heart & join the real world.

I am not a Government robotic penpusher and I think it is already clear they are in the minority.

You are the one who has been rude and offensive to people on this thread and now you are trying to play the pity card, it wont work. If you want hugs and kisses this is not the forum for it. I assume you realise what you are doing, if not I do feel sorry for you!

Hello all. ( Ill just wipe away the tears )

Personally, you are offending me. What would your children feel like for the loss of their family home which they grew up in, I dont think you have any idea. My 5 year old son had just settled into his new school & doesnt understand much about why we had to move house. My 14 year old daughter carnt stop crying, she feels ashamed & embarrased. You are being quite cruel.

If it wasnt for local goverments with all the bureaocracy, red tape, ranson strips, rules & regulations, then new houses would therefore be more affordable for everyone, especially first time buyers. If you must know in a previous development I succesfully completed, my Company gave a way 20% of the units, at 20% off the value of each unit, paid £70k towards a childrens play area the otherside of Town, & contributed £30k towards a new Cycle way to be built in the near future, all that was just to get Planning permission. I went to one Council meeting in the Town Hall & most of the members were falling asleep ! Now thats why I made the comment in the first place. Call me bit, rude, offending, call me what you like, but I do have reasoning behind it.

If you wish to continue to rub salt in my families wounds, just carry on.

its top government who have the 'red tape' the rest of the local councils have to follow the rules.

your situation is sad but you have a roof over your head so be grateful and climb from your ivory tower and accept your lot. a lot of people are now homeless due to repossessions, have been waiting on the council list for years, live in council or housing association or rented properties of which the standard of living conditions can be dire but we just get on with it and be greatful we have roofs over our heads.

to hear someone bleating theyve lost several cars is nothing, if you have a roof over your head then deal with it and come down to earth.

should you not join this way of thinking yourself?

i feel for you, i really do, but in times like these you are not the only one to be suffering. pick yourself up, tell your kids whats up and to deal with it in the case of the eldest why is she crying? because she cant have pony rides, WIIs and other such luxuries? welcome to the real world.

myself and my partner both work and have 2 kids, we live in council accommodation, have debts and the cost of living has shot up and we find it difficult to make ends meet and keep everyone happy [creditor wise] but we get on with it and accept our lot.

By the way each Council in the Planning department have different views, and work in very different ways.

Anthillmob, my family have lost their home, we are living with family, & have no income. I am not looking for anyones sympathy, its just the way I am feeling at the moment, & yes it may be bitter. But it is not very kind of you jesting about my family, I`m sorry but if anyone starts quoting " get the violins out " the barriers go up, all I want to do is protect my family.

I thought you were on this forum to help & advice people, not to be heartless & unkind.

You have really upset me this evening , hope you sleep well in your own bed, with your roof over your head, & enjoy work in the morning.

If you have kids you should know what its like, how do you tell a 5yr old that he no longer has his home where he can have his friends round to play. We all have to sleep in one bedroom together, what will that do to a teenage girl ?

You shouldnt assume that any of my kids had a pony rides etc. I grew up in local authority housing myself, there is nothing wrong with it. I`m sure you wouldnt like it if I started speculating about your children.

All in all I just wanted to help someone with their problem. I do feel that I have had an experience, & I`m willing to help others if I possibly can.

Please show a bit of heart.
