The deal is as follows:

I asked the sales advisors if there were any special conditions impossed on the tarriff as it normally retails at £30.00 per month according to the website, she said there were no special conditions just a special offer for christmas.

If you are interested in this offer, you may also be interested in the following thread - in a nutshell, free AX65 or k500i, 12 months line rental free (by cashback - £225 based on 6 months on OVP Vodafone 200 then 6 months on Orange Your Plan 30). See:

More detailed information if you follow the link through. Basically, as I understand it, OVP Vodafone Anytime 200 is 200 minutes to any network, anytime; OVP Vodafone Anytime 100 is 100 minutes to any network, anytime - you get either of these for 6 months. If you want to keep your 12 months completely free (ie total line rental cost = cashback) then you would have to drop to Orange Your Plan 30 (ie 30 minutes, cross network) @£15 per month, but there is no requirement to do this if you wanted to pay a little more to have a better plan (obviously would mean that you wouldn't then have 12 months free line rental).

No texts included at all unfortunately (damn I wish I managed to get that E2save.com deal earlier today!). Personally, have ordered the AX65 on OVP Voda Anytime 200 as I don't talk or text much anyway and just like the phone! (works out cheaper than a payg phone with a half-decent number of minutes per month).
