Hi Vjain,
IF you want the extra warranty then when the time comes ring up dell and ask for the best price they can give you then when they try to sell you the extra warranty see what they wil through in as extras.... I am biased i like dell and i've not had problems with they customer care and you can get some good deals if you can haggle a bit.0 -
Does anyone know what battery these have in them looking at the latest model and they only have a 4 cell wondered if these had a 6 cell0

The Argos one is end of line, not in stock for home delivery, so it will be a question of finding one in stock in a store near you.0

Nothing wrong with Dell and nothing wrong with Vista don't believe all you read
I agree - had loads of Dells (currently have 5, but all desktops), and Vista on 2 of them. Vista SP1 is very very stable, and my only complaint about it is the time it takes to copy files because of the way it handles DRM. Copying video files in particular is painfully slow - slower than file copying in the days of 5.25" floppy disks.
Dell customer service has always been good for me - depends whether you resent talking to foreigners or not, but they are always very polite which is more than can be said for some UK customer services I've dealt with. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
I have a Dell desktop too but got it from the small business section, although it's only for home use. Usually they come with a higher spec for the same price as a domestic use one plus a manual with instructions for home repairs in simple terms0

I've had no problems with Dell either, in fact I think their customer service is rather good. Mind you I rather like it when they use that 'remote asistant' thingy, where you tell them what is wrong & they kind of take over your pc to fix it. You just have to sit back & watch them do all the tricky stuff lol. Hmm can you tell I'm not very techie0
