I bought several wooden blinds about 5 years ago from these people:

The blinds are still going strong and looking good! They used to have a few shops dotted around London, but seem to have become mail-order only now. At the time they were significantly cheaper than similar quality blinds elsewhere - don't know how they compare these days.4.7kWp (12 * Hyundai S395VG) facing more or less S + 3.6kW Growatt inverter + 6.5kWh Growatt battery. SE London/Kent. Fitted 03/22 £1,025/kW + battery £24950 -
I had some that were standard size but slightly too big for window, i just cut equal amounts of either edges and took some off the bottom so the drop was perfect. Pretty easy to do and you won't be paying for made to measures. Its wood so you can sand down edges and the top mechanism i just cut back and slid the end caps back on.0

Hi guys,
Interior Decor Direct I was recommended these after reading a previous thread on here last year. Bought 8 in total and was very pleased with price, quality and service."
I also bought off these guys last week, never used them before so thought they were worth a punt. Good quality and value although their live chat took a while to respond, were helpful when they did though.
Definitely stay away from Argos in my opinion, usually love them but in this case I wasn't too impressed!

Hi,
We had Hilary's come and fit venetian wooden blinds to the four bedrooms and living room windows including a roller blind to the kitchen door going into garden. The living room window and 1 bedroom window were just over 5 ft. This cost £800 in total. The blinds were made to measure and the chap came and fitted them all in just over 2 hours.
We are happy with the results and they look great"I think I spent 72.75% of my life last year in the office. I need a new job!!"0
