the crabmobile:rotfl:.Another vote for the vinegar cleaning option, worked wonders on the crabmobile.
If you need new blades, wiperblades.co.uk are selling 'aero retrofit' wipers, I bought some (cheapest anyway) and they're just brilliant.
another vote here for the retrofit aero blades.(if required obviously) first clean windscreen using vinegar and news paper, then wipe the blades clean. if they still smear replace them....work permit granted!0 -
a old wife tale method is pour a can of cola on your windscreen and that works as well.
How to Remove Windshield Streaking
Many of us have this problem with streaking when an unexpected rain storm arrives, however, it is a very simple fix with a product I am sure all of you are familiar with.
Steps- Purchase a can/bottle of your favorite soda pop (Pepsi is recommended).
- With the wipers on low speed pour the product on the entire windshield.
- In a few seconds all the road grime will be gone and you windshield will be crystal clear.(This will not damage your paint, but should be rinsed to remove any residue)
- Continue your trip with a much better view of the road.
