Where is the FTSE going?

Well this week one of my funds went down 5%, my even riskier fund only went down 2.5%.
Overall over the year the funds I am investing in have gone down 44%.
nevermind! 0 -
Well my predication in that recent FTSE prediction thread was 3500 would mark the bottom of the market. I hadn't expected to get here quite so quickly but I'll optimisticly stick by it.
I also said I would start cautiously investing on a monthly basis when the stock market got to this level so if it it stays here on Monday I'd better put my money where my mouth is.
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Yes I think this market has taken a lot of people by surprise with the extent and pace of the decline, and I cannot claim to be any exception to that, I didn't buy into the "bottom is in" declaration in November, although I traded it, I have started buying for some longer term trades, and some longer term investments here, though I think there is still potentially another 10-12% in this leg on the S&P500.Hope for the best.....Plan for the worst!

!!!!!!, thats one hell of a drop in a year on funds. Who selected them?
Me....
Both high risk equity though. I am not expecting to make a gain yet. I have only started buying into them since July or something though so atm the moment I am just trying to buy as many units as poss until things start to sort themselves out.0 -
Incredibly its not that bad when the ftse is down almost 40% and you say its high risk.
If your buying regularly havent you seen some averaging, its not really a total fall from the peak for you?0
