I agree, it clearly says in the 'official' bit free postage so make him stick to that. His own written bits can't over ride the ebay bits. The invoice will say free postage as well, so pay the item cost and let seller worry about the rest.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Personally I think the opposite. Buyer is duty bound to read the description, and just in the way you can put surcharges for NI and Highlands delivery, detailing extra costs for cross border sales is perfectly reasonable.I agree, it clearly says in the 'official' bit free postage so make him stick to that. His own written bits can't over ride the ebay bits. The invoice will say free postage as well, so pay the item cost and let seller worry about the rest.
Sympathies start and end the moment people don't read descriptions.0 -

Go through checkout, pay the invoice as it comes up, that at least should get a reaction from the seller. Paying for it also protects you against a claim for non payment later if seller refuses to sell.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I just dont wanna get my wrist slapped by ebay for not reading the description, but at the end of the day legally........it is free p&p and if for some reason the site didnt work, surely ebay could say well you should have contacted us and NOT listed the item until it got sorted out.0

The site does work, the seller is trying it on to get round postage restrictions.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
