How Many Accounts Do you have

Just wondering if I am mad!
Until about 18months ago - I had a current account and a E-saver account, with the same bank

Now, if I count up the ones with cash in; the ones with £1 -cos they dropped the rate before I transferred any money, the ones with zilch cos they replaced issue1 with issue2, & the ones where they insisted I open a current account in order to open a savings account , I need a spreadsheet to keep track.

Thats before 12 his & hers Halifax/Bos reward accounts and an A & L Current acc for £100 (sadly it didn't apply to any of my non-used current accounts - had to have at least 1 standing order)

( oh - I keep the zilch ones so I don't have to do identity checks when I need to grab the "latest offer" and because I'm too lazy to write letters - so only close those you can do on-line)

I seem to have loads as well! I have got current account and linked savings account, and ISA, then with the same bank we also have a joint account and linked savings, so that is 5 with just one bank.

Then we have 2 term accounts and a linked savings account, as well as another solely in my name, with bank number two. So that is another 3 accounts!

I also have another savings account with 1p for the moment, a regular saver, stocks and shares ISA's from 3 years, oh and another cash ISA which I got this year. so that is 6 more!

Finally, I have an egg money card, and two credit cards for a bit of stoozing! Another 3 accounts.

In total, that is 17 accounts I think!! A lot to keep track of, but I find that using Egg Money Manager is good for this

God Bless Quicken for keeping it all tracked :)
