If you haven't ridden a bike even for 2 years, you'll not manage 10 miles each way. It'll take you a couple of months before you can do 20 a day.0

My oh was looking into the tesco electric bike then spotted something you can put onto an ordinary bike that turned it into electric. Think they were quite expensive too . Seen some electric bikes on ebay but usually batteries are konked. Drivers don't see bike riders either oh has had a few near misses .0

I've been thinking about getting an electric bike, a few good sites you should look at, some include forums where you can get advice about the good and bad ones or maybe buying a second hand etc etc are......
