premium bonds advise on date??

hey guys i hold £220 premium bonds from december and just purchased £120 on the 1st of march when will they (£120) be included in the draw will it stand in the april or will i have to wait till may

and on what date each month is the draw held???

thanks in advance i am holding my money in here as i am a rubbish saver and i like to think of it as out of sight out of mind lol

You have to hold them a full calendar month before they are entered into the draw.

If you are lucky and the transaction was on 1/3/09 then March might be the full calendar month, and they'll be in the draw in April, but more likely the transaction will count already in March and April will be the full calendar month, so they'll be in the May draw. This is why people are always advised to buy PBs during the last week of a month to minimise the time they aren't included in the draw.
