Flippin rain!!!! Grrrrr and cant do baking yet as have no stork left waaaaaah. Thankfully the pie is made, had enough to make a pie top. No veg to go with pie (though peas and onions in it) so will be some slightly sprouting new potatoes and some yorkies that are lurking in freezer. Will do the yorkies when the oven is on for baking, save leccy.
I read mbazs old £20 on groceries for the month challenge, really inspiring! Im not sure I could manage!

Hi to NewlyFrugalMumof3:D and any other new posters:D
Just come back from costco - went for oldies at work. They were selling off some 3 1/2 lb bags of lovely dried tropical fruit and nuts for £1.95 a bag so picked a couple up for DD and OH for snacks - usually pay about £10 for these so very happy. :j Now split into 50 small snack bags and in bottom of fridge:D
Lovely sunshine weather decided to disappear and turn to hail, rain and snow for an hour
sun is back shining again now though.
Have made a loaf in breadmaker and some flapjacks in remoska for DD:D have been given a dozen lemons this morning so hoping to make some lemon curd later time permitting.
Also started some more mung beans off in sprouter for sandwiches/salads and stirfries.
Quite a productive day so far:j :j
