I had co codomal once and Im sure it led to stomach problems

It was probably something else. Paracetamol strains the liver - it's aspirin strains the stomach, and of course senna strains the bottom...

Buffy I have that reaction with co-codamol. I kind of have an allergic reaction, like talking becomes all distant, Im sooo tired and feel drunk. I remember the first time I took them was when I had gallstones and was in agony and I took some and then went to hairdresser.. fell asleep in the chair and they thought I was a drunk, it was only when I went back I had to tell them I had had a reaction to medication. They probably then thought I was a druggy :rotfl:

*Now is probably not the time to tell you about the time (s) I have taught having taken Codeine!*

That is so true, everything is such an effort xxx

Heck no, drinking on painkillers just numbs their effect and I need them.

Codine can upset the stomach and should always be taken with food.
