Hi,
Not sure if this is the right thread for this question but I have some pc games(still sealed and in there celefane) that I got when our house was broke into nearly 4 years ago from Insurance company.
So I was wondering if I could get away with taking them back to Game or Asda,Tesco etc and tell them that they were a gift but I didnt have a receipt?
Does anyone think I would get at least an exchange voucher if I did this or would the barcode show that it was not purchased there?
Any experience or advice would be appreciated?

... or you could sell them on ebay, play or Amazon instead0

Alright Adamski...are you still on NRG?
You could ask the company who supplied them to exchange them although I doubt they will0 -
Ebay would be your better bet xx2012 Wins - Danepak Fridge Magnet, £20 Just Eat Voucher, iTunes Song Download, Yellow Toaster and Kettle, Thorntons Bunny, 6 Months Gym Membership, £250 Multipower Products, 3 X Dalepak Vouchers, 10 minute sunbed session, Lucozade Sport, 2 X BMI Flights, Android Zeemote,0

28 days is one thing 4 years later is another, its a no, they don't like taking games back for refunds as it isLife is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0

Chances are a PC game that's 4 years old will only be worth about £5 if you buy it new, best bet is just to sell it on eBay, no point ripping off a Game store if they have nothing to do with it.0

Just occasionally if you have a rare game you might get a really good price online - especially for a sealed copy0

And maybe someone could mention that even if you could this would actually be fraud? :rolleyes:0

How is it fraud??0

Attaining funds/goods by deception.
OP isn't taking them back to where they got them from for the refund/exchange and intends to lie about where they've got them from.0 -
Ahh I see... I skimmed the OP and didn't notice they were gonna do that!!0
