Security code for Nokia
Comments

Have you read the manual yet?0

The default security code for all Nokia handsets is 12345. The only reason why this would change is if the user had changed it themself. This is not something that the network can reset for you so if you dont know the code, sorry but there is not much you can do...0

Or go to some shop and ask for a full format. Basicly they reinstall a new software on the phone. more like a brand new phone.0

can also be 00000
most unlocking shops can reset the security code for you , some earlier models have a master reset cde , see the first posts in the Unlock Nokia thread for detailsEx forum ambassador

Yes, I have read the manual and it says 12345. Left it with the chap at the market stall to unlock, I wonder whether he has done something to it. Also does anybody know if you fail after three attempts, do you get lock out? Thanks0

Do I have to take it back to the market stall? Can I reset it myself? I do not want to pay again. I guess I can live with it, it's just I get free talk time on 02 and it is handy to keep track of them. Thanks0
