Just got back from the Newcastle Arena performance and I have say it was fantastic. Some of the stuff is just draw dropping. I have seen Varekia in the Big Top and this was just as good. I prefer the big top but this show is just as good. If you see any offers in your area grab a ticket. Even at full price it is worth seeing the best in the World. I think they still have to come to Brum, Manchester, Sheffield, Dublin and Glasgow.:j :j :j
  • I went last night at NIA. I bought 6 tickets for the family and only one enjoyed it. I thought that some of the peformances were fantastic, the diablos and the comedy guy, but apart from that i didnt quite understand the rest, and like a previous poster said thought it was odd.

I walked out quite dissapointed, but everyone around me seemed to have loved it. So it seems that although most people will enjoy it, some like me wont.

Thanks to the original poster, as i would have originally piad double for these tickets to have gone to the show before hand.
:confused:I say im a moneysaver, my family think im a cheapskate!

Where about's were you sat? I have picked up tickets today for the front row to the left of the stage, wife wanted to be there so I had to get them from Ebay at the full £50 price. Hope its worth it:confused:
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now

Just come back from birmingham 4pm show. Got what i thought would be good seats in middle of floor but couldn't see the stage! Lots of people were moving to the empty seats behind and sitting up high on the seat backs. In the break i went to the ticket office (along with many others) and got re-seated. I think that low down in block 3,4,9 or 10 is the best (side view). There is not good front view (either too low or too far away). Place was only half full on thursday afternoon so reseating was no problem, but i wouldn't like to have booked a floor seat for friday/saturday night!
  • i was in lower block4 and the view was actually better there than if i was seated on the floor.

One thing i hate about the seating at the NIA is that there is virtually no leg space, meaning i sat akwardly throughout the whole performance

Thank you very much mammyt for this great tip - wanted to go to the Liverpool performance last month but it was too expensive, but I now booked the Friday show in Manchester. Can't wait! Thanks again.
  • Went last year to see Cirque at N.I.A. Birmingham, what a rip off.It was basically an average rock/jazz band and some average players nothing outstanding.Everyone was complaining about the "show" after, big bucks for not a lot.Has entertainment deteriorated so much that people actally think they are getting their monies worth The press won't warn you its not in their interests to do so.Good scam, few performances, high prices, then a hasty retreat. What was that quote:You can fool some of the people some of the time etc.etc.
