Got my Marie Claire today.........hmmm not sure what's going on as they haven't taken the £1.00 either!! Hold on let me see if I got any freebies with it....No, only page freebies - hand lotion sample serum....Whta was the freebie anyway?? I got the Happy Issue......Well I'm happy now, off to have a nosey inside.

I am looking at my April copy same as in 1st post, and I'm sure the girl on the covers strap is held on with a safety pin! am I seeing things?

I've just fished it out from under the bed and yes, you are absolutely right! About the safety pin that is, not the bit about you seeing things. I can't imagine they'd have missed it when picking the picture, but then again why would anybody put a safety pin on the outside of such a nice outfit. Well spotted.0 -

Because models rarely have the right sized body- they get pinned into clothes, help together by pins, needles and bulldog clips. Then the image gets touched up so you can't see any of thier bones (and instead people become overwhlemingly upset when they see celebs in photos who do have bones poking out of here and there)
They must have missed touching up the safty pin on that one. Not chosing an image without one- all images would have one somewhere- else the clothes wouldn't stay in the right position or on the model. Trust me. I worked in fashion.0
