No - Don't bother asking me how I found out either
Other than that they are great (Now to start a thread about colour stained whites in my laundry bin)
Thanks for posting that, I'll be sure to give my cloths a good soaking first before throwing them threw the wash.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0 -
I have bought some more microfibre cloths from savers (3 for 99p) and found they are a lot better than tescos(3 for 89p)
The ones from savers are thicker
Ive got loads of colours now
A colour for the floor,a colour for windows etc
I think im going a bit mad now because i cant wait to go up the town to see what other colours they do lol:rotfl:
I have the dark blue for the car, white=worktops, dark yellow=floors, lime green=windows and not so dirty jobs
Anyone know where i can get some pink lol:rotfl:0 -
Tesco had all different coloured ones - 99p for one last time I was in. They had light yellow, green, blue and pink.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0

I was at Focus DIY this morning and they had a tea towel sized microfibre cloth together with a microfibre mit for £1.99. I bought some and used one set for shampooing my carpet, because DD1 had spilt a 2 litre bottle of coke over it on Friday night when she had friends in and it had made a really bad stain. I used some Carpet power and the mit, dampened with warm water and it came up like new - the mit was absolutely filthy. I dried it off with the large cloth and it was almost dry! Brilliant and here I was thinking I would have to hire a carpet shampooing machine!! Not bad for £1.99 and 99p for the carpet power in H&B!!Jane

Oops! Can confirm that the lime green ones from Savers are ok!
Two days of microcloths and Stardrops - I reckon the house would pass the white cloth test with flying colours. (I think that is a bit of a
contradiction in terms  but I expect you know what I mean!)
Also can report Stardrops is 'kind on your hands' as I start with good intentions but soon get fed up with rubber gloves.

I ordered some from Tesco's with my online shopping this week, and after reading here that you could get different colours I asked them to send me three in different colours ... so what did they do? ... send me all blue ones
I think I might have to embroider an initial in the corner of each one so I don't muddle up the kitchen, bathroom and general dusting ones "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Hi, i've got my Microcloths and Stardrops and i'm ready to go on a cleaning spree :T :rotfl:
This Stardrops stuff sounds like a miracle, no more half full bottles of this and that cluttering up the cupboards. Does anyone know of anything that you should not use it on, before I get started ?0 -

Can you tie-dye some with bleach to get pretty patterns? lol0 -
Wow a huge THANK YOU to everyone on here for all you advice and suggestions. I am now a convert, I've just cleaned all my mirrors and glass with these magical cloths and they all gleam. I'm gobsmacked. Amazing. Thanks again to one and all.

Great idea!
On second thoughts, I'm sure I've read somewhere that bleach could damage them, so I'll have to look into that. Mind you, I'm the only one here likely to use any of them so just keeping them in the separate rooms they're needed for should suffice for now! LOL!
Oooooo just wanted to add that they're brillaint for windows and mirrors - done all mine this morning with no effort whatsoever, just using a damp cloth :j :T"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
