MAC Codes different with each ISP server?

i have been given my MAC code from BT
if i move to another ISP will my MAC code be the same or change to a new one?

your MAC is only valid for 30days from when it was generated... once you have migrated, the MAC becomes redundant0

Hi
A MAC code is used to authenticate the migration request from your current ISP to your new one. The use of a MAC makes migrations between ISPs simpler and quicker to validate enabling the migration to be completed in a much shorter timescale than previously possible.
So you just quote the MAC Code that BT gave you to new isp and thats it, if you ever leave your new isp they will issue you with another one.
