Ten days into daughter not eating meat/fish, and the rest of us are barely eating any either, it's so much easier to all eat the same food and we're enjoying the veg meals anyway (oh and myself have been vegetarian at various times and are don't find meatless eating daunting). There are a number of egg dishes this week because I find myself with 17 eggs ...
This week it looks like one meat meal and the rest veg.

Hello everyone
Completely inspired by this thread (and GC, Storecupboard, etc) I decided last week to meal plan for the very first time. It worked!:T Not only did it work, we were able to scrounge a couple of lunches out of leftovers also. I found it so much less hassle deciding beforehand what we're having. Working full time and DH shiftwork makes it tough sometimes. Am going to try to double my success so here's this coming week's:
Sat - Pizza & chips (HM or freezer)
Sun - Pork & Crackling (freezer) mini sausage in bacon (freezer), potatoes
Mon - Spag Carbonara and HM garlic bread (got everything for this too:D )
Tues - Tuna pasta bake (leftovers for 2 x lunch DS and me)
Wed - Beef casserole (HM in freezer)
Thurs - Baked potatoes & tuna (leftovers for me)
Friday - Fish & chips (freezer)
So, all in all I hope for a pretty cheap week.Grocery Challenge M: £450/£425.08 A: £400/£.May -£400/£361 June £380/£230 (pages 18 & 27 explain)0 -

Tues - Low fat sausages in onion gravy, mash, brocolli, carrots & peas
Wed - Chilli & Rice
Thurs - creamy chicken bake, + salad

I tried making flatbread last week - turned out like focaccia - not the wrap type bread I was expecting, even so it was delicious. Will have it with the spag bol.
Will try again for a wrap type bread this week.0
