I do think that flea treatments seem to be more "toxic" for some dogs, not others. Im just going to look up advocate and also read up on Garlic tablets.
Do you think raw garlic would be ok? They get fed raw food also, so I could blend up some garlic with liver or kidneys (they would eat anything thats mixed with offal).
I didnt know that you could get 6 month injections for this? Might also look into that. He doesnt have fleas at the moment, just to clarify. Just dont want to make him poorly every month by treating him.
Many many people use garlic as a preventitive with no side effects and indeed you can actually buy garlic treats and garlic suppliments aimed at dogs. However Garlic has ended up on the list of toxic food for dogs somehow so you will find conflicting advive. Its up to you how to proceed0
