No worries, done. Remember to write or fax it in! Dont ring them or you get the same standard answers..... the underwriters know what they are doing and if they say no, ask them why? i.e. please don't refuse my simple request to transfer accounts because i am an exisiting good customer. If you cannot authorise the swap, please confirm why? Bear in mind I have no UK credit but I do have over 6 years internal relationship with Amex so you know I am not a risk.

Go along those lines to get what you want...... usually works.:T

Thats a healthy limit in my eyes so to be honest they should allow the transfer. Let me check, you've got a NIL balance right? they cant do this if you have debit balance on the card....?

Hi - I have a nil balance. I've just looked at the rejection letter, and it is signed by Hamish Alexander (the same name in the Underwriting Department), so my application was already reviewed and rejected by them. I think I'll give them all call to make sure they did treat it like a Global Transfer, and not an application from scratch.
