I use tamari soy sauce (wheat free) as well. I mix a couple of tablespoons with cornflour, mix up to a paste and then add the juice of two oranges - makes a lovely sauce to mix in with the stir fry0

Hi Twink!
Sometimes, I just use a little oil to start it off then add runny hunny and garlic paste or chilli flakes....sounds yukky, but its quite nice.To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains!FEB GC/DIESEL £200/4 WEEKS0 -
I use the reduced salt soy sauce
I also often use the little blue dragon sachets, I don't think they're super high on salt to be honest.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
i like the blue dragon sachets too - just got a teryiakki (sp) one - was 54p! most of the supermarkets do their own fresh stir fy sauces too in the veg part with the packs on noodels and the veg all ready for stir fries. sweet chili ones are good too - get healthy options too!

i have started doing stir fries recently and am ok with what veg to use but i want it to be low fat and low salt, light soy seems too salty, what do you add to your stir fry? i know you can buy liquid sauce in pkts but guess they would be too high in salt tooWhat Would Bill Buchanan Do?0

My stir fry sauce is 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey & 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce.
This does a fair amount of vegetables but just make up another batch if you feel it needs more. I suppose if it's too runny you could thicken it with oats.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

I sometimes use chicken stock to cook the vegies in instead of oil and just use oil with the meat only.Thailand 3010/15000 20150
