Stayed in Singapore recently, great price on F&F rate.

They did ask for the voucher, but accepted it straightaway with no questions asked.

About the Friends and Family code: when I input 1 person, I get rate not available and the rack rate of £69. If I put 2 people, FF appears and I get £39. Not sure if this has been mentioned before or if it was just a random bug in the reservation page.

Recently stayed at the Holiday Inn at Heathrow-they asked for the voucher but no issues or questions.
We then stayed at the Intercontinental in Sydney for 4 nights, there was no request for the voucher and we were given a larger corner room but I'm not sure if this was anything to do with the voucher.

For anyone else lucky enough to stay at this hotel I would definately recommend booking the club access rooms..........wow what a view and superb service. Good value too if you make the most of the 'free' cocktails and canapes each evening!

Just booked a room at Bristol (Airport) Holiday Inn, using the Promotional Leisure Rate.. got it for £45 (inc breakfast) for 2 adults and 1 infant! Think it's about £75 normally!
  • Stayed at HI Bromsgrove Birmingham on F&F, had their best suite, but no voucher needed. Have also booked CP in Florida under the same guise.

Does anyone know what the difference is between a holiday inn "standard" room and an executive and a delux room please?

    Hiya,

I think it depends on the hotel. Generally the Executive Club Rooms include complimentary wi-fi, breakfast and afternoon canape's. I think the Deluxe Rooms are more or less the same as the Execuitve Club Rooms. They are normally are on higher floors & have better views.
    Happy :)

was that the Orchard City centre one?
I want to book 2 exec rooms for july here, but a wee bit scared to use the friends & family code, though checked the prices and it does make it about 25% cheaper.
I cant find any other codes that work for this hotel
did you have to pre-pay it when booking?
  • Yes you always have to prepay the friends and family rate

Hi there - I stopped in the one just off Orchard Road last summer using the voucher - they never asked for it (but I did have a 2am check after a late flight!!). I'm on Platinum rewards so got a fabulous upgrade to a junior suite room, this was the best upgrade I had in Asia. If you get a good deal I say book it as Singapore hotels have really gone up in price over the last few years! Just print voucher off & take it with you incase.
    Happy travels!
