Desperate For Help - Blueyonder Prob

Hi, I've just had cable installed this morning, but cannot even get beyond the installtion disk and am absolutely loathed to phone the premium rate number for help.
When going through the install disk, it fails when it tries to get an IP address.
The error message I get is:

blueyonder installer obtained an IP address for your network adaptor, but not a default gateway.

What????

As such I cannot use the service.

Any assistance be greatly appreciated as stuck without it....

    Thanks Intel.

Now sorted - followed IT advice from The IT Crowd "Have you tried turning off and back on again?"

Works now - further question though - I am now moving onto next stage of set up which is going wireless for laptop.
Have now put wireless router between modem and pc, but need to enter settings - what is the normal setup for telewest/blueyoner? DCHP or PPPoE? and what are the settings I need to enter?
