Blackberry Storm R9500 Problems
Just to see if anyone out there is having problems with their Storm? I've had problems from day one and now has been returned once for repair, came back still the same problem, have to send it back again before they'll consider any other method of repairing the problem, I've told them their phone isn't fit for the purpose of what it was sold for and if it doesn't get rectified this time around I'm taking it further, they have managed to get my account credited with £5(whoopee doo) for the inconvenience caused.
Problem with phone is that it keep switching itself off, or rebooting on its own, they keep saying it's a firmware/software problem and to install the upgrades, done this but to no avail.
Anyone else having similar problems?

I upgraded to this phone, 2 weeks ago, the worst mistake I ever made, its total garbage... No signal, software problems, video records but then when you try to watch what you have recorded it says the media is not supported .... hows that when its been taken on the phone, I returned it and got a replacement as i thought it was maybe a problem with the 1st handset, but the replacement was just has bad, I feel I have been treated that badly by Vodafone I have informed them the phone is going back and I am cancelling my contract, I am sick of being on hold for 45 minutes plus trying to get through to customer services, I have even posted my concerns on there E forum for them to then delete my post because they dont want other people to see how they treat there customers !!I hate the name child support and can't say it without a nasty feeling in my tummy. ...

Hi there,
Just a wee update, the handset was set for an exchange and has arrived back in store, so due to pick it up tomorrow, first thing I'll be checking for is the imei number to see if they've tried to fix it again, they wanted it to have another attempted repair for the third time but I insisted on what was the point in that, due to them being unable to fix the problem on the previous two occasions, and the fact that I should have been able to fix it myself with a software download from their site.
We'll see what happens when I get the phone back. Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -
