have seen a deal on the orange spv500, it is ovp100, with first three months half price line rental. then a banner saying 9 months free line rental. how do you get this 9 months free is it by cashback and how long do you usually wait. I can find no info on their site as to if you have to claim this back or it is automatic.

From my understanding, OSPS work through cashback, which you have to claim at set times (indicated with the package).
They discuss this in the FAQ and Terms & Conditions (off the front page).
Kind regards

Yes, it's cashback. I have just finished a phone after one year with OneStopPhoneShop. They were very prompt with the cashback and basically I've had a phone for the last year for which I've paid no line rental and had hundreds of minutes of free calls a month.
Check out the following thread in this forum, it's an even better deal if you can cope with "3". Sorry, I don't know how to post links.
Nokia 7600 now FREE rental for 12 months at e2save0 -
Or you could check out the following thread:
Free k500i/AX65 + 12 months line rental by cashback (6 months line rental on OVP Vodafone 100/200) then 6 months on Your Plan 30):

PS - to post a link, either just copy and paste from your browser location bar (http:// etc next to Address), or when typing a new message on here, next to Add YABBC tags: there is an image of a world with a piece of paper - click on that then type the www between [ url] [ /url] (space after [ inserted otherwise it won't show up - need to be removed for the link to work!).0 -

Hi
Be very careful with the T&C of the OSPS cashback deals.
They ripped me off and were extreemly unpleasant.
Good luck

why would you want to get rid of p900? do you use the features in it? i have a p800 and i think it is great. the only drawback is the size.
talk about the bargin of the year about a year ago my contract finished and i was looking for a new phone and contract. I have never paid for the phone, they came free. Imagine my suprise when i saw carphonewarehouse offering p800 for free on their relax 200 minutes tarriff which was 29/month. I thought it was a trick where when u go to the shop they say 'sorry sir out of stock'. But they had one and i left the shop as a proud owner of p800.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way
