I have visited 3 Somerfield stores today, but no DVD players left.
I notice on the Argos web-site they have a Venturer 6.2 in screen half price for £39.99, however, only available for in-store pick-up & not available in any of my local stores

I am looking at the Proline DVDP706W 7" Portable DVD Player inc Carry Bag but have a few questions, I cannot get through to the manufacturer to ask them so was hoping someone on here knew.

I am thinking about buying two of these and was wondering if you can connect both players together so you can play one DVD and watch it on both screens?

Also there is a question of getting power to them because as with most cars I only have one cigarette lighter output thingy. Can you connect power to the second player from the first player?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards
    Dan
  • Not sure as to connecting the screens together but as for the power source you can easily purchase an adapter which will turn your single cigerate lighter in to a multiple socket (depending on what size you buy). These adapters are available in the majority of car part outlets.
Watch out, you never know who is about.

    multiregion :

This applies to Proline DVDP706W (might also apply to DVDP705W).

    1 - open DVD tray
    2 - type 81328 on remote control
3 - Region is displayed on screen
4 - Press Enter/Select (button in middle of arrows on remote) to loop round the region codes. (9 is for all regions)
    5 - close DVD tray

    Works for me thanks! :-)
