From payg to contract

Hi there. I've had the same payg mobile phone for 5 years and I really need an upgrade. It's been quite pricey (Virgin) so I'm considering entering a contract. What I would really like is at least 400 free texts a month, I'm less bothered about actual phonecalls as I don't so that many. I do use text a lot though. Any recommendations anyone? Many thanks.
