I'm sorry I can't offer any advice as I've never raised a puppy, but thanks so much for the Photo. I thought you had uploaded the wrong one as I only saw the cats at first.
It's a bit like a scene from a sci-fi film, as the cats look like giants compared to pup :D

Hes so tiny Id pop him in my pocket and take him with me tbh :D

Its safe enough to take him with you - as long as where it is you are going either doesnt have dogs or their dogs are innoculated.

At his age you need to get him socialised as much as possible and as long as you dont put him down where unnoculated dogs could have been you will be fine

(and tbh you can always walk parvo into your own home as it can live three months without a host)

But a crate would be great and crate training started. Just a few mintes at first. There some great crate training books out there. You can increase the time as his bladder gets bigger but never use a crate as a place pup spends all day every day (as some people think its ok to do), crates are safe havens, to be used closed for a few hours a day max

Hi again thanks for all the nice posts.
Yes i agree the puppy is way too young to be away from its mum.
We bought him from old school friends of my son
who bought it from "people in town".
We have had dogs for the last 20 odd years but never one so small .
I wouldnt not have got him if he was still with mum but he was not being looked after properly was ill with worms no jabs and not the right food human not puppy.
As for socializing him that wont be a problem as we have a female who is doing every thing that the web sites said would happen.
e.g biting mouth,,telling off when hurting, licking all over and i mean all!
We have older children of our own and young ones that vist.
Im getting him use to car with own seat belt.
Slowly let him meet the cats which was my biggest worrie as they are all from farms and do hunt.
I would not trust them at the moment with him although evie rounds them up im hoping charlie will copy her good behaviour.
The cats are now just watching him play around ,some of them sniff him others just keep out the way
We just hope that he will grow alot more as my o/h says there is no way he walking a rat on a string!
Bearing in mind this is the grown man that has laid on the floor to play for an hour the other day,and carried him to his bed yesterday and been inpecting poos for worms!

P.S i do love the cats and each of the kids have one each.
But we never have any more than 5 cats and 2 dogs at any one time we have a huge garden and fields at back of house.Plus i dont work!! so home alot of the time.
    Loving Life,Family,Work
and my greats love is the Grandchildren xx :)

A crate would be a secure retreat for the pup, but like whats been said already, not for too long, he is soooo tiny.
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?
