Very small website wanted

I need a simple but professional looking website (just a page or two) just to give some info about a small (self employed) business and with a means of contacting me.
I also would be interested in having a logo designed too if possible but for a very low cost obviously. (I'm on maternity leave and have found out that I don't have a job to return to - long story but very poo
)
I don't have a clue about any of this stuff, nor about hosting, domain names etc and was wondering if anyone would be able to help me please?

theres some professional looking FREE web templates here
http://www.oswd.org/
which can be editied with NVU from www.nvu.com
(which is also free)
depending on your ISP you may have free web space included in your package and you can buy your own domain for £9.99 from www.freeparking.co.uk (or less from others) and then "point" the URL at your free web space. Freeparking also let you have 10 free email addresses on you domain which are redirected to your real email address
ie......sales@mynewwebsite.co.uk would really go to anyoldemailaddress@hotmail.com , and nobody is any the wiserEx forum ambassador

There are quite a few of us who are designers on here and can offer advice. Find a small web company or friend who can help. Avoid big scary agencys as they'll charge the earth for something like that.
For hosting I always recommend the same company - https://www.apisnetworks.com but I think they'll be overkill for what you want.0 -
Thank you both for your replies. I've been hard at it all day and almost threw the computer at the wall but have managed to design and upload (finally!) a basic site.
Thanks again,

I'm not allowed to put it on here but I've put it in my profile so you can look at it through there.

1. buy a .co.uk domain for under £6 for two years from 123reg.co.uk
2. https://www.jamroll.co.uk for totallly free web hosting - The guys who run the service will help you out, nice people.
3. grab a free template off the net for your design, as suggested above.0 -

how clean is the HTML using this? i.e. how does it compare to hand-coding it and Dreamweaver for example?0 -

Hi,
I'd recommend godaddy.com for domain and hosting. Buy together for $10 for domain and hosting for 2 months or get a full years hosting and domain for $42. In terms of designing a webpage. Have a go yourself with the software already mentioned or post your project on elance.com (like ebay but for web designers).0 -
You can design a logo very cheaply at https://www.vistaprint.co.uk then uplaod it for your own use.0
