Humm ..
I actually don't know ... they can do anybody and anything .. so I would have thought that they can do womens as well ... but to be honest I really don't know.
Perhaps you can give them a ring and ask them?
Oh another tip for you .. all in land phone calls in HK are free. So in some shops you will see a phone lying around feel free to use it!
Vegetarian food ... do they like tofu? There are plenty of vegetarian dishes infact there are a lot of vegetarian restaurants! Some specialise in cooking with tofu so that it tastes and feels like meat! Have a look in your guide book for some suitable restaurants.
What should you not buy? Don't buy too much clothes, food or electronics. Otherwise you will exceed the luggage weight limit when you come back to the UK! It is extremely expensive to buy more luggage weight!0 -

mobiles are cheaper in UK than in HK0 -
Yeah Mobile in HK are more expensive than the UK.
As none of the mobile in HK are subsidised like they are here. Basically you pay the same price as if you were buying them Sim free. However the price is slightly cheaper than a sim free in the UK.
Regarding contact lense solutions - the best place to get them is from the opticians and not the pharmacy. You can also get contact lenses. They stock the same makes and as long as you know exactly what you want you will be fine. In the opticians especially the smaller ones if you are buying quite a bit you can haggle. Haggle and you might be surprised at how much more of a good deal you can get. There are loads and loads of small opticians dotted around so shop around.
A word of warning though, most shops are small so they probably will not have stock if you want a lot, however they can usually get them in a couple of days. Do not hand over any money until you recieve the goods, HK shops are notrious for being there one day and not the next.0 -
I used to visit HK 3-4 times a year. For bargains would recommend the following:
1. Custom suits and shirts - Ash Samtani in Kowloon. Quality English and Italian cloth and well tailored (also the generous G+T was appreciated during initial measuring!). Has 2-3 day turn around. - http://www.samtani.com/
2. Specs - Bought a pair of Gucci designer on spec (excuse pun) from a shop in Causeway Bay. They are about half UK price. Shop was full of BA staff buying too.
3. Watches - Luxury brands are about 30-40% cheaper than UK high street prices.
4. Door Knobs - Yes, really. I used to stay in Wan Chai and there was a whole street of hardware/kitchen/tiles type stores one after the other next door to each other. I replaced all our kitchen door knobs for pennies. The same as you see in the DIY sheds in the UK but abouth a tenth of the price.
Also, make sure you HAGGLE. In HK, there is no fixed price in the smaller shops and it is expected.
I would wander around Causeway Bay too. It has a more 'local' feel to it than Kowloon and pretty much the same stuff. There is a Sogo there too (a Japanese department store) which is worth a wander. The Pegster
