Selling car - but no interest!

Cheers, mine is the Twist model, parkers says £3,400 - £4,400 depending on condition2p off is still 2p off!0

I agree that price is the problem. For £5k you're not too far financially from nearly new superminis. On that basis I would rather spend a grand or two extra on a 6 month old Corsa/Fiesta with warranty rather than a 4 year old MOTable car.The man without a signature.0

Things are pretty dire at the moment. There is so much out there and the fact that there is no interest indicates that you're asking too much for it.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

Glass's agree with that valuation.

BUT
You have answered your own question your car is probably +/- £1,000 too expensive. And remember all figures quoted here are historical and prices could be down another 10% in the intervening period.
The question is how desperate are you to sell? Can you trade it in?
If I was buying I would be looking at the lower figure I have quoted here and perhaps raising my offer for a particularly good clean example.0 -
cut the price a bit, and something ending in 999 looks a bit contrived to me, like a car dealer window sticker, how about £4300 to start
I was quite surprised: we spent £1.20 to put a postcard in the local shop window for a month - an older cheaper car admittedly but low mileage, £1900 or offer - it went in 3 days and there were 2 more calls before I got back to the shop to remove the card0 -
Thanks all, guess I'll have to bite the bullet and drop the price, the sooner I can get rid the better really, I'd rather not part-ex it because we can do with one car for now.
I know eBay is half price listing so might try that on the weekend and putting it up on a postcard in the local shop.2p off is still 2p off!0 -

Watch cars listed on eBay (auction not classified). Find a few the same age and spec as yours and see what they go for. That's your price.

I'd list it for £4300 ono and see where that takes you. If you get £4000 for it then I think you should take the money and run!0
