Hello can anyone help me,
I'm looking for a good sky + deal. all sky can offer is a sky + HD box which is going to cost £49 plus an extra £10 per month. Now 2 issues i have with that is
1. why should I have to pay £10 per month extra for 2-3 extra channels (as I don't have sports package)
2. my TV is about a million years old so the HD picture would be wasted!
Has anyone got any ideas?
Cheers

The Sky HD box is advertised nationally as £49 with free fitting.
What they do not tell you is there is a £30 'connection fee.'
They are in a very hard sell mode presently and will promise you practically anything to get you on board. I was promised reimbursment of the £132 BT line reconnection fee if I took on Sky Talk and Broadband.
I paid BT and signed up with Sky. When I applied for the BT fee refund they said they were no longer doing that deal and I had been given the wrong information. They would not budge even when I cancelled the Talk and Broadband.
I am now back with my old provider (Virgin) but am £132 out of pocket.0 -
