Beanie - I saw it, liked it - but for the life of me can't remember what it was...

I think its the virtual thing. If you meet someone in real life you accept them as friends despite what they look like (not that anyone on here would scare anyone -you know what I mean) but on here you make friends, get to like people and then become scared that people will be disappointed when they meet you.

So we all say we are ugly fat hairy etc etc so when we finally do meet we are all pleasantly surprised....

    good luck gemmzie
sammy i was told only to have something light before exercise yoghurt etc, so it doesnt feel heavy, but have your carbs/protein etc after coz your metabolism is runny high and will burn it off quicker, up to an hour after exercising in fact,
not that you need it coz your well tiny, unless you hide it well, unlike me who wobbles no matter what i wear, but im getting out there and doing something about it....now

yuch yoghurt......i can't eat anything before I exercise otherwise i puke! Well done on getting down the gym though....

    Pania and Z...thanks :grouphug:

I know it is all in the mind and stems from me being heavier than I used to be - I shall just have to get over myself......

sammy i'm right there with you on that one. at my heaviest a few years back i was just shy of 12 stone which I hated. At my slimmest 2 years ago i was 8st 8 and that is what i am desperately trying to get back to so i know exactly how it being in the mind can make you feel and even if people say "don't be silly" if you are still heavier than you want to be you still convince yourself you need to loose it. if that makes sense, which i doubt, i'll get me coat.....
