Having claimed back some bank charges from HSBC around a year and half ago I have since incurred more charges.
Am I able to claim these back or have I had my share ????
Please reply or PM me .

Thank you so much !

Are the new charge in-line with the legislation? I think they're legally allowed to charge a maximum of £12 now.
I know my spelling is shocking  It is alot better than it used to be though :rotfl:

Well I would claim it back. Though alot of the banks have put the claims on hold for the time being, with the court case going on, you will have to wait a while.

Is there anyway of stopping you getting charges in the first place? I know it sounds a daft question, but I was forever getting them, so sat down and wrote everything out (what was coming in and when, and what was going out and when). Since that, no more bak charges.

Yeah to be honest I have recently done the same and have not had any for the lsat two months. I still use my overdraft and am not in the position to close it at the moment.
For the last two years I have received an annual letter from the bank saying they have reviewed my overdraft and are happy to keep it in place but charged me £25 for reviewing it. Another rip off in my mind but perhaps another story !!

Yeah, me too. My overdraft gets cleared everymonth with my wages, but only just ;)

What bank are you with? I dont get charged for my overdraft and doesnt get reviewed unless ive asked them to do it......

Oh right. When I claimed my charges back, I was advised to close my account (halifax) and switch, which I did to Natwest.

I only switched after I had my money back though, dont know how easy it is to do when you have a claim going.

Well I went to open a new account with Halifax and they asked me if I had claimed back bank charges with my old bank. I did not like to lie so told them only to be then refused an bog standard bank account with them !!! :embarasse
