Cost of laying concrete in back yard

    If you can break up and remove the existing you could save some money.
    But if you are capable of that i think you would be able to put some shuttering up level, get the materials delivered and then either:
    hire/borrow a mixer and do it yourself,
    pay someone to just mix and lay the concrete
    or get one of the lorries that mix up the required amount on site and get it poured straight in.

    i always use the ready mix lorry for the concrete except when making small amounts.
    do all the other stuff first, diy.
    i did a biggish front porch base recently for just 50 quid.
    3x1m.
    (and deep)
    Get some gorm.
