orange charging for a phonecall after contract is over
my father ported out his orange number to o2 on jan 5th, his billing date is the 10th of the month.
he has just received a bill for 10th jan to 10th feb with call charges!!!
rather strange.
i called them up for him and they told me it is for call smade on dec 21st, frankly i find this very hard to belive (and accept).
i asked to query this but she assured me that it is correct, i have a problem before when they insisted that i had made a call to america when i knew that the person was in the uk when the call was made, after argueing with the guy at orange that the system had made a mistake eventually they admitted their mistake.
anyone else had a similar experience.

If you call an American phone when it is in the UK, it is still an international call. Or perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you say.0

sometimes calls get lost in the system and don't appear in teh correct billing period(especially international calls and texts) but I have had a similar one witha UK call only appearinga month later once which my list of numbers dialled backed up the bill0

International calls are subject to the 'b' end operator tariffing your service provider for calls carried on their network. Sometimes there are delays before the pricing information is forwarded back to the UK provider. This sometimes means that calls are not shown until subsequent billing periods.0
