I've got my valuation arranged for next week- I take it at this point, that we've passed the credit checks etc, and the only obstacle to the mortgage offer is the valuation coming in at under 75% LTV? Or do they do the valuation first, then do the credit-scoring?

i passed the credit check over the phone and was waiting for the paperwork to come, no news on my valuation but assumed that would be done when the paperwork had been returned signed to them.

  • OK, ta. I've done everything online so far and passed the initial credit check before submitting the full application. I assumed there would be a more thorough check pre-valuation?
