advice please, broadband

sorry if this seems a silly question , i have got wireless broadband which took ages to set up but now working fine, i am having work done in house which will mean turning off elec for a short while, will broadband work as soon as i switch back on or will i have the long process and problems of re connecting

Yew it should just re-synch and connect in a few seconds.
The settings are not lost when you turn the power off as long as you shut it all down properly.No free lunch, and no free laptop
