My sister is looking to buy a car.Her insurance company told her a while ago, when she had to use one of their courtesy cars ,that they sell on their courtesy cars after 9000 miles but she can not remember where they sold them to.I just wondered if anyone knows on here as she has rang her insurance company since and no one there seems to know.
Sorry if it sounds confusing.0 -
they're one of the cars you want to be avoiding to be honest. They go everywhere on two wheels in clouds of tyre and clutch smoke lol.0

they will all go to auction. it will usually be a fleet sale.
harvey are these not the ones you buy and then punt on to unsuspecting customers?...work permit granted!0 -
Yeah, but the V5 usually has some nonsensical name and address on, as aposed to "RentaCar LTD"0

courtesy, pool, hire and ex police cars are best avoided. They are driven by different drivers and are abused in most cases. Best going for a sales rep car.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

Any main dealer selling newish second hand cars will be ex demos - usually less than 10,000 miles or six months old
Audi dealers have them for a max of six months and then they get sold. My A2 was such a car and I had no problems
Ford have thousands of hire cars which get sold through Ford Direct - I've had two from them and both have been excellent.
Anyone who says avoid ex courtesy cars must only ever buy brand new cars as any second hand car has the potential to have been abused.
Buy througha main dealer and you get the remainder of the warranty.0
