good little book to have is "wedding speeches and toasts" by barbara jeffery it was £3.99 in year 2000 (i was a millenium bride!!)so i dont what it sells at now but it will help you structure something to say!!!!!!!!!!! good luck!0

Don't stress - the only things people remember about weddings is how lovely the bride looked and that the food was rubbish!

I HATE speeches, I've found that everyone who needs to make one absolutely dreads it and worries about it for months beforehand. They USED to be compulsory but they just aren't anymore.
We didn't have any at our wedding so my husbands brother was very relieved.... now hubby's brother is getting married and expects hubby to make a speech! Swine
