How on earth would us filling in this 'survey' help you decide?0

E-on sinking to a new low? You can just imagine the oleaginous creep dribbling with excitement as he made the suggestion to his line manager.0

Well well well...the faeces really is hitting the whirry thing on this forum now, isn't it? Shame that those more enlightened posters who have always railed against the far too relaxed (IMO) attitude to energy company stooges posting incognito on here have been so heavily abused. Some people never learn...Call me Carmine....

Recession biting at E-on?0

Unfortunately I am not related to E.ON I am 23 and have just set up home with my partner. I am swayed towards E.ON as they are the only brand (as I can see) that have a representative on here and they have been very very helpful. I did post a thread previously but nobody replied so I felt this was a light hearted way to get some help.0

Please don't be swayed by the eon reps being on here - you are unlikely to end up on the best tariff for you if you are influenced by how many reps post.
The problem with your question is that different tariffs suit different people. It depends on how much electricity/gas you use, the type of heating you use and which region you live in.
You need to work out your likely annual use - if you can't do this, search the forum for other people's posts and see what they use and make a guess. Use a comparison site and use the annual kwh figures to find a good deal. Don't go for anything with a penalty for leaving and keep track of your usage. In a couple of months time, check again. This time next year, you'll have a better idea of usage. Meanwhile keep checking. What's best now probably won't be in six month's time.
Some people switch frequently. Once or twice a year is enough for me.0 -
Hi everyone
I don't know what was in the original post but please please remember company representatives are only here on the forum to answer questions about their product for potential or existing customers.
Just because they're posting on here certainly doesn't mean their product is the best one for you. You'll only know that by doing a gas and electricity comparison for your circumstances.
Please read the fully researched and updated Gas and Electricity guide for more info.
