Board Changes

Could I add something I'd like to see - if it were technically possible.
I visit http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/ and I like the way they have the most recent topics from all the categories on the front page - I rarely go to the board index.
It also means I participate and read topics I would not usually even notice.
Not sure if it's been suggested before.

I have been thinking for a long time that the following 2 boards and 2 other ideas would be useful additions for MSE.com!
1) "Regional Tips" Board
I have lots ready to go for Manchester, London and
Lincolnshire but sadly nowhere to really put them
without risking making some MSE users get fed up of me posting too many "localised" tips. I understand the importance of Northern Ireland having it's own money board, but perhaps Regional Tips for everywhere else could be "collated" on such a board. (I ask for this board because working for a charity I know its not easy living in London on a low salary!)
Post titles could start with location in CAPS followed by a colon and then the title:
examples
LONDON:See a film in Leicester Square for £1
(this offer exists!)
MANCHESTER:£1 a pint pubs (I used to know a few!)
2) "Dining Out" Board
Blue Sky Visioning, Would love to see this board as a "colllated" reference point for all restaurant tips and offers, as they tend to end up on lots of different boards at the moment (e.g. Travel Board, QGIWYC board)
3) Spell-checker facility for the forum!!!
PLEASE, POR FAVOR, S'IL VOUS PLAIT, PRETTY PLEASE BITTE, PASHALSTA, PER FAVORE, PRETTY PLEASE WITH CHERRIES ON TOP could you consider adding a spellchecker facility, so I can spell-check my posts before I post them (!) Does anyone else currently make a post, then have to spend 5 minutes modifying it (2 or 3 times) to correct typos and grammar??
4)Closing Down Sales!! A request for the Quick Grab It While You Can Board
Finally, I would like to see a central, "collated", "stickied" list of Closing Down sales as an ongoing point of reference (for an existing link to such a thread, click here). This could happily be located and "stickied" within the QGIWYC board.
Although I agree that to some extent the Internet has re-divided society into new 'haves' and 'have nots' I think the QGIWYC board has a "natural" tendency to concentrate/dwell on Internet offers compared to High Street offers purely due to the board's fast moving nature and the multitude of internet offers.... This means the high street offers quickly drop down the board onto page 2. I am currently planning my "High Street Shops" very carefully and always scour through the whole forum to check of any High Street Closing Down sales/super sales.
Viewing the current Closing Down Sale Thread, I gave the example of one closing down sale (bookstore) where i bought (EST £250 of goods) for EST £25. That was half my Xmas presents bought in 2 visits! I could not have found a better deal on the internet. uk1981 also made an excellent discovery of a multitude of Vshop/ Virgin Megastore Express closing down and considerably reducing prices and posted the info on this thread.
I am 101% convinced there are at least 10 Closing Down Sales going on in the UK we Moneysavers currently still do not know about.... and it would only take one eagle eye & one post on a "sticky" thread to alert the whole forum!
The "Great Summer Sale thread" (click here for link) has been a great illustration of how good high street offers can be if
you are primed with the information before you hit the high street!

Hi,
I know were trying to tidy up the boards by combining, but would it be possible to divide the Online Discount Vouchers to show discounts codes offered and discounts codes wanted.
Or am i missing something, and it can already be done by a search? ???Blonde but learning0
