How about I change it to the "I don't know which topic it belongs to so I'll post it here board" then maybe it has a mod who can move them.

I think we need to be careful not to encourage lazy posting then..i think a title that perhaps encourages people to have a good look at the other forum titles first, then post if they really cant find a place would be better. 'Anything else' covered that quite well. Maybe just a catchier title though?

We move enough posts at the moment anyway without giving people a reason to put as little effort as possible in!

We've been talking about this behind the scenes for a while so we're still looking to iron out any last probs.

The purpose of this reorganisation is to tidy the boards and make everything a bit more ordered, hence an area that invites posting in the wrong areas that a mod will have to move is, to my mind, something that perhaps needs careful consideration.

Well if people are not posting in the right place cos they haven't bothered looking, perhaps something more prominent about SEARCH FIRST! needs to be put near the top. (Ie don't give them any more options - surely there are enough?)

My thoughts exactly Fran, and, yes, making that type of info clearer is another area we have considered

I agree with what you are saying in principle but there are things that still aren't covered by all the boards, Legal for instance and newbies in particular are not always aware of Search.

All I suggested was perhaps a punchier title and I will now go and hide from Mod2, behind Martin

No need for that!

I'm actually in complete agreement with you when there is obviously nowhere to post somthing, that's the very reason for having it, but i just think we need to be careful we dont make it a free-for-all, if you see what i'm saying.

??? If you're inferring that I 'Mod' more than anyone else , then you're wrong as glad also Mods on two boards.
