But we have a tax reason to have the account only in my wife's name :) Seems our kids wouldn't be covered either...
What I mean is that you can keep your wife's single Premier Direct account (with all your money) and have another joint Premier account for insuranse. You are right about children though.
I think we get this on our Nationwide CC??
And here you are absolutely wrong ...

Good point. I'll have a look how much the upgade for kids costs. Seems like too much effort though having to fund it each month...
    Nationwide :(
Too many new things... I thought something had it but maybe I'm thinking of the A&L account.

  • Having recently completed the opening of my own Alliance & Leicester account, I just wanted to express my sincere thanks to Mr Mark Ford (maforduk) whom was as true as his word on this forum with regards to the refer a friend scheme.

Whilst it may see unlikely, his offer of keeping just £5 of the £50 payment was honoured completely.

He contacted me via his work email address (which in itself added to his credability in my eyes). He completed the necessary paperwork, and agreed to refund 90% of the money he was paid at a later date. I later received the agreed amount as a direct bank credit.

I would thoroughly recommend him as a genuine and sincere poster. 10/10!

    Andy

I can recommend anyone and give £45 of the £50 I recieve back. That's £95 for you and £5 for me!
    PM me...
    Thanks.
