ok, I know I'm new here... but when info is wrong, its wrong.

Alton Towers give a bunch of tickets to the company that runs the promotion on behalf of Alton Towers/The Sun.

When the application is processed, no decision is made - the first tickets available in the first available date band are simply put back in the stamped, self addressed envelope that is sent in with the application.

ie, the person processing simply looks at the date bands applied for, goes to the first one with tickets available in that band and takes the tickets from that.

No decisions, no choices, just whatever is the first ticket available.

Just thought I'd clear that up.:D
