I'm told Halifax are pretty lenient with their Charity cards (9 months 0%, 3% fee). Probably too late now with 3 very recent searches on your file?

Thanks, yes I have done that but unfortunately it won't reflect in my credit rating in time for the current searches. I'm only using 24% of available credit but it might be the total amount of credit currently available that will go against me in these applications

They're not currently showing on Experian, probably update overnight, so might be worth one last shot? Last glut (4) of cc apps was last July
PS - it was the 2nd of those tables I was using earlier trying to find a card.
