So in effect, if i had used all 6 vouchers at the same time i would have got 9 gift sets (3 for 2) instead of my 6 free of charge! Wow

The youngs solutions were in the clearance line in Wigan today. The masks were 44p each and i bought 8 of those and 1 facial wash. And got 200 points for each product.
    So check those clearance bins.

Wow had great Boots tarting with this young solutions thingy. Went to one Boots yesterday and no-one had even heard of the stuff. So I tried a different Boots today and when I asked where the stuff was the woman said that it had been discontinued and was on the clearence shelves (I am not suprised BTW as the packaging is hideous not attractive at all).... so over I went and there was loads of it!!!

    Bought:
21 x face masks reduced from 89p to 53p (so not as cheap as St. Chris')
    1 x cleans bar at 1.93

Plus I also found three no.17 lip pencils reduced to £1 all giving 150 points at the mo.

    Total spend I think £16.06
    Points awarded 4650

Unfortunatly the till girl sussed me out even though I asked all the usual distracting questions she glared at me and scoured my receipt - "grr you got a lot of points..." for one horrid moment I thought she was going to take them all off but she handed over my receipt and I said thankyou she just scowled and said "I didnt give you them" or something along those lines and I scuttled out - double checking to make sure I had my card back!!!!

So back upto 130 quid balance on my card now which got pretty wiped out over xmas. So thanks for spotting this one Tony H!!
Total for 2009: L'Oreal Lip Duo, Diary, Motability Guide
Thanks to everyone who post comps - you are all :cool2:
  • Advantage_card is back from Boots, but as when she attempted to get a taxi from the bus-station the driver wasn't there so she couldn't, never got to the Retail Park! However i bought SO MUCH today, but not much @ Boots, it took me TWO HOURS to put it all away

    From Boots i bought

Two soap containers *for solid things @ LUSH*
One 2pair pack of suit socks in black
    Two packets of cashew nuts
One packet of Shapers sour crem and onion crisps
One packet of Walkers Turkey and Stuffing crisps
Two 500ml Boots brand bottled water
Four 750ml Boots brand bottled water
Two bottles of Original Diet Coke
Two enormous packets of feminine products, YUK
One packet of mixed nuts and raisins

All in all over £22 so entitled me to another ruddy skincare voucher. Lovely helpful girl asked did i use no.7 or time delay handcream. i already own a no.7 one i occassionally use that was from another promotional voucher round so she suggested Time Delay handcream, but they were Out of Stock! grrrr!

However, ive since heard from the grandmother and she says we can go to the RP branch tomorrow, so will hang fire with token until i see if they have any.

I bought sooooooooooo much other things!

Its even better than that the way it works is like this, first you would have got 3 for 2 on the six sets which reduces it to 4 x £4.87 = £19.48

but then you hand over your half price voucher (you only need one, the till applies it to all items purchased). This is the best bit, the till reduces all 6 (yes all 6) by 50% (even though you are only paying for 4) so next, off comes £14.61

You would have paid just £4.87 for all 6 items, its mad.

  • Bah, machines knew I was arriving - neither of them working so no points voucher for the lippy  . Managed to use the No7 £5 off when you spend £10 with 3 for 2 offer: got a lipgloss and 2 sets of shimmering capsules for £5 :D . Will try the retail park at the weekend, hope they're still giving 300 points for the lippy.

  • Success! Managed to use 300 points voucher for Intelligent Moisture Lipstick and a half price voucher plus 3 for 2 offer. Till gave 900 points (including 300 for the free lippy :D) so net cost £3.75 for 3 lipsticks :D:
    Lipstick 1 = £8.50.......300 points
    Lipstick 2 = £4.25.......300 points
    Lipstick 3 = Free.........300 points

    Total £12.75 plus 900 points.

If I didn't already have a collection of lipsticks and had more money I could really bump up my points on this offer.

    Anyone else tried this out?

  • Been at my grans so not been able to post, but went to Boots Inverness Retail Park on Saturday, i didnt need anything after my haul on Friday so that was ok, and gran only needed face cream so i gave her my £5 off token because she wasn't wanting to buy it at fullprice! Went to the machine with her in tow, NO Young Soultions coupons for me AND only a lousy 50pts on the Natural Collection lip or nail items, so needless to say as we werent going to be over £25 we came empty handed from the machine - typical when i have someone to help me do it, theres no coupons i need, as i dont use Pantene shampoo although ive just noticed my mum's bought the Radiant Colour one without telling me, i *think* thats the one on the machine but i *think* you have to buy haircolourant with it, dont you?

Got my Starbucks feed paid for though, so not all bad.
