I hope the discs you are copying are not copy right protected.

I use dvdshrink to "BACK UP" my dvd media, very simple to use.

Verbatim disks are probably the best you can buy in the high-street. As you've discovered, cheap disks are cheap for a reason.
Even if they work now, cheap discs can become unreadable a few years later. I bought a couple of noname CDR's and 6 years later they were unreadable on a DVD-ROM drive but readable on a CD/R/RW writer.

Don't know about now - I have a computer with a single combination drive plus I ditched the disc!
  • :confused:Hi, I am trying to burn audio books (free so no prob there) to a DVD because it takes several books. I have done this in the past and got about 10 books on 1 DVD to listen to in car but now, will only go onto a CD and then would need several discs for say Pride & Pred etc etc.
I HAVE done it before so where have I gone wrong this time. Different types of discs, Tesco, Asda, Mr DVD and Memorex DVD-R, DVD-RW,
will write instructions down (have looked around the net)
    Many many thanks
    Wendy:confused:
