I'm am switching my ISP from aol to sky. The switch is due to happen today. But ever since yesterday I have lost my Internet and not been able to get on line, is this normal as I thought there would be no interuption.
Aol have been paid for this month and have not canceled with them yet.

As the previous answer suggested, you HAVE to use the sky modem supplied, it has the appropriate settings embedded in it to connect to them.
Whilst it is possible to use another modem, sky will probably disconnect you if you do, and anyway you have to do a hack to find out your sky modem login and password details as sky do not provide them.0
